We are thrilled to share that Knit for Wildlife has received vital financial support from both Bergesenstiftelsen and the Vega World Heritage Foundation to fuel our public outreach during Oslo Art Weekend.

This generous backing is a massive milestone for our initiative. It ensures that our community event can remain open, accessible, and completely free to everyone.

What This Makes Possible

This funding will directly support our upcoming activation during Oslo Art Weekend (OAW), where we have been invited to present our concept alongside artist Ingrid Styrkestad. It also secures the launch of our highly anticipated Oslo Summer Knitalong (KAL).

With this support, we can bridge the gap between remote marine conservation and city spaces. We are bringing the vital stories of our current focus area straight to urban communities. This year, that means shining a direct spotlight on both the UNESCO World Heritage archipelago of Vegaøyan and the critical reality of seabird decline.
